Dynamic Timbers commenced operating in August 1994 as a new venture by the current Proprietor, Neville Smith, selling structural timbers, plywood and mouldings to the building industry.

We started trading in a small section (800m2) of the old “in-door Cricket” Centre in Michael St. Innisfail and doubled our shed area after the first year.

In 2001 we commenced the manufacture of roof trusses which required a further doubling of the operational area, which led to the relocation in 2003 to our current Mundoo address where we now have 2 roof truss production plants on a total land area of 9,540 m2.

We currently employ 19 full time staff with plans to increase the numbers with future new product coming on line.

Plans are under way for the expansion into a new product line of prefabricated timber frames. We are also currently establishing a branch store on the Tablelands ... click to see the progress.

Starting as a timber reseller, we have grown to one of the largest roof truss manufacturers in tropical North Queensland. Whilst we are based in Innisfail our market is from Townsville to Weipa.

We are the only timber truss manufacturer operating in the Johnstone Shire.

Our customers tell us that we have the most reliable production times in the region and it is important to the builders to be able to supply their materials on site on the agreed date.
